This blend has a soft sheen to it from the silk and a softness from the merino and alpaca. As the construction is a single ply, it is a slightly thinner yarn while still being classified as a 4ply weight. It will make a wonderful weft for those using it to weave however may be too fragile to use as a warp thread. Like all my yarns they are soft to the touch and feel lovely worn against the skin.
